Workshop · Autumn soy candles
On Sunday 4 October at 11:00 am we are running a soy candle workshop with an autumn theme, in collaboration with @la_basilisa. You will leave with two candles you made yourself: one with a cotton wick, in a glass jar, and one with a wooden wick, in a metal jar with a lid.
You decorate them with wax toppings and whichever dried flowers or fruit you choose, and you pick the scent for each one from more than ten. At Temperato we serve our brunch alongside.

The workshop is €35 per person, paid in two parts, to two different recipients:

reserving the space and refreshments: brunch.
On the day of the workshop, €25 per person directly to @la_basilisa, at the workshop itself. That amount is theirs alone: Temperato receives no part of it.

How payment works
These are two separate payments, and they are not collected by the same person.
You pay €10 here, to Temperato, for reserving the space and your refreshments: brunch. That secures your place, and you get an email confirmation straight away with the address and the time.
The remaining €25 is paid on the day, at the workshop itself, and goes directly to @la_basilisa. That amount is hers alone: Temperato receives no part of it. It covers the workshop and all the materials.
What you will make
Two soy wax candles, and they are not the same: one has a cotton wick and comes in a glass jar; the other has a wooden wick — the kind that crackles as it burns — and comes in a metal tin with a lid.
Then you decorate them with wax toppings and whatever you choose: dried flowers or fruit. And you pick each one’s scent, from more than ten.
I’ve never made candles before
You don’t need to have. The workshop is guided by @la_basilisa and all the materials are provided: you choose each candle’s scent and decoration, and she walks you through it.
What you take home
Your two candles, each with the scent and decoration you chose, in their glass jar and their lidded metal tin.
How many places there are
The workshop is for a maximum of 15 people and needs a minimum of 10 to go ahead. If that minimum is not reached, Temperato cancels the workshop and refunds your booking in full, or you move it to another date — your choice. It is set out in the cancellation terms.
Exactly where it is
Temperato Murcia, on Plaza Santa Catalina, beside Plaza de las Flores. Sunday 4 October at 11:00 am. Come five minutes early: we start on time because the workshop runs exactly two hours.
