Workshop · Paint your pet

Second edition of our pet painting workshop, together with Andrea of @kaizen.petss.

You send a photo of your pet before the workshop and Andrea sketches it onto your canvas, with a selection of colours chosen so it comes out as lifelike as possible. On the day she guides you through the whole thing, telling you step by step which layers to paint first, so you take the finished portrait home.

Everything is included: the canvas with its own easel — yours to take home — brushes, paints, and a print of your pet drawn by Andrea as a gift.

You do not need to know how to paint: that is what the sketch is for, and that is what she is there for. Temperato brunch included.

The workshop is €40 per person, paid in two parts, to two different recipients:
Now, 10,00€ per place to Temperato — for refreshments: brunch — a tasting of toasts and a drink.
On the day of the workshop, €30 per person directly to Andrea, at the workshop itself. That amount is theirs alone: Temperato receives no part of it.

What you will do

You paint a portrait of your own pet on canvas, guided by Andrea of @kaizen.petss.

Before the workshop you send us a photo of your pet. Andrea uses it to prepare the sketch on your canvas and sets out a selection of colours chosen for that coat, so the portrait comes out as lifelike as possible.

It is painted in layers: she tells you step by step which ones to put down first — backgrounds and large areas — and the detail after. So you do not need to know how to paint.

What is included

The canvas with its own easel. You take it all home: the finished portrait and the easel to stand it wherever you like.

All the materials for the workshop: brushes, paints and whatever else is needed. You do not have to bring anything.

And a print of your pet drawn by Andrea, a gift to remember the day by.

It also includes the Temperato brunch — a tasting of toasts and a drink — which is what the booking fee covers.

Do I need to send the photo beforehand?

Yes, and it is the only thing to do before coming. Andrea needs the photo to prepare the sketch of your pet on the canvas.

The better you can see the face, the better the portrait: good light, facing the camera, and not blurred.

How payment works

These are two separate payments, and they are not collected by the same person.

You pay €10 here, to Temperato, for refreshments: brunch. That secures your place and you get the confirmation by email straight away, with the address and the time.

The brunch menu, whether it is served as an aperitif or as breakfast, includes a tasting of toasts and a drink.

The remaining €30 is paid on the day, at the workshop itself, and goes directly to Andrea. That amount is hers alone: Temperato receives no part of it. It covers the workshop, the canvas and all the materials.

How many places there are

Places are limited and booking closes once they are full. At least 9 people are needed for the workshop to go ahead. If that minimum were not reached, we would let you know and you could choose between a full refund of your reservation or moving it to another date — it is in the workshop cancellation policy.
