Workshop · Paint your feria fan
It sold out in under 48 hours, so we are doing it again. On Thursday 17 September at 7:30 pm — the day before the Lorca feria begins — we are running the fan workshop once more alongside artist Carlota Lizewski: guided painting, step by step, so you take home your own personalised fan and use it the very next day. At Temperato we will be serving our DROP premium Vermut, olives and a tasting of sourdough toasts to go with it.

The workshop is €30 per person, paid in two parts, to two different recipients:
Now, 10,00€ per place to Temperato — for
reserving the space and refreshments: DROP Premium Vermouth, gildas and a tasting of sourdough toasts.
On the day of the workshop, €20 per person directly to the artist, at the workshop itself. That amount is theirs alone: Temperato receives no part of it.

How payment works
These are two separate payments, and they are not collected by the same person.
You pay €10 here, to Temperato, for reserving the space and your refreshments: DROP Premium Vermouth, gildas and a tasting of sourdough toasts. That secures your place, and you get an email confirmation straight away with the address and the time.
The remaining €20 is paid on the day, at the workshop itself, and goes directly to the artist. That amount is hers alone: Temperato receives no part of it. It covers the workshop and all the materials.
Can I choose the colour and the design?
Yes, and you choose right here when you book.
Fan colour: red, green or white. That is the colour of the wood, and the drawing is painted on top.
Design: the posy of flowers, grouped in one area, or the flowers all over, spread across the whole fan. These are the two the artist has prepared for this date, so there are no other options.
The names refer to the drawing, not the colour. In the photos you will see them in particular colours, but the drawing can be painted in others: you choose the colours at the workshop, with the artist there.
I can’t paint. Can I still come?
Yes, and that is true of almost everyone. It is a workshop of guided painting with Posca markers: you go step by step, there are models and stencils to trace if you would rather not draw freehand, and there is always someone on hand to help.
A marker is held like a pen, so you do not need to be handy with a brush. Two hours is plenty of time to finish a fan without rushing.
I want to come but I don’t know anyone
Perfect — that is the idea. We want each workshop to be a space of its own where you can meet new people and enjoy the experience together.
What you take home
Your fan, painted and dry, the same day. It is wooden and painted with Posca markers, whose paint is permanent once dry: it stands up to use, it is not a one-day craft.
And since the workshop is the day before the fair starts, you use it the next day freshly painted.
